My mother and grandmother passed on a rich legacy of letter writing, and I am so thankful.
Birthdays, Easter, Christmas, Thanksgiving, New Years and other special occasions, are great times to send cards to friends and loved ones. Sending notes of inspiration, encouragement, support and sympathy are also perfect times to break out the stationery and pen.
