Do What You Love. Love What You Do.

With a chill in the air, the leaves becoming more beautiful by the moment and the skies overcast, this morning started out to be the perfect kind of Fall day. My body wanted to snuggle up in the covers, linger in bed and enjoy the peace and quiet, but my mind was raring to go! My excitement was not over University of Georgia’s first football game of the season, nor the big sale at the mall. Nope! My excitement was high because I was going to hang out with my friend and help her organize her cabinets and closets!

I can hear your eyes rolling up in the top of your head at the absurdity of it all, but I am serious. I LOVE to organize! (I also love washing dishes by hand, but that is a story for another day.) Eight hours after we began, the work had taken a toll on my friend, but I was still energized to continue! We agreed to stop, and marked our calendars for the dates for me to return. I had taken “before and after” pictures to aid in celebrating our accomplishments, and smiled as I surveyed the results of our efforts.

That’s when it hit me! I was doing something I loved, and the time flew by! Great information to have as I search for employment, because after today, I am feeling like this having a job thing, is getting in the way of me living my best life! Now, someone please tell that to my mortgage company!
