It’s Sunday evening, and time to focus my mind, check the calendar for the upcoming week, and lay out my clothes and jewelry. It happens every Sunday like clockwork. Completing these tasks, for me, is like putting a bookend on the shelf and separating playtime from what lies ahead. Over the years, this is a routine that has served me well.
These days, I also take into account the time I will have to spend with the dogs. I review the calendar to see whether I need to ask someone to walk the dogs in the middle of the day, buy food or other feed store items, and more. Planning for them eases and avoids anxieties for everyone.
