Today is a day of celebration! I completed my Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Training! Completing this journey with a virtual instructor has been interesting. While the teacher facilitated the learning, the computer screen showed the slides. Without live video or Zoom technology, the experience was reminiscent of the wizard in The Wizard of Oz. Nonetheless, I remained alert and engaged for 35 hours of instruction.
As part of our “graduation”, we each committed to using one of the techniques, The 5S System, to complete a project at home or in our workplace. My commitment? To sort, straighten (store), shine, standardize and sustain our dog supplies. I am excited!
