Ahhhhhh! A tall, ice-filled glass of Diet Coke! Is there any better picture of joy that is full and overflowing?! All who know me, know that my dark liquid of choice is Diet Coke. I like it extremely cold and fizzy fresh! It is an indulgent treat that I allow myself to enjoy in 12-ounce daily increments. So to compare my day to this is BIG!
What made my joy overflow today? I spent the day baking cookies and prepping cakes for upcoming orders through Diana’s Desserts. The whirring of the mixer and the uniform rows of cooling cookies does my soul good! In addition to this joy was the fact that I was coming off a high of filled and delivered orders for Thanksgiving office gatherings and requested personal sweets.
I am also celebrating the closing of my eldest daughter’s first home. It has been long anticipated and much desired purchase. I am excited for her! She is living her dream. (Selfishly, I am also hoping she will allow me to help her organize her belongings!)
As an added bonus, the dogs were absolute angels today! Just their presence bring exceeding joy!
