Chilly Outside. Chili Inside.

Winter is just ten days away, and yet the yardman came and cut the grass today. That is unreal! We have had more than one day of frost, but the grass is still not dormant (though its growth has definitely slowed), the leaves are still falling from the trees, and the sun is still warm and shining brightly. The morning temperatures are cold, and the afternoon temperatures are moderate or warm. It is the kind of weather that you need to dress in layers or risk illness from being too cold or roasting. Last week we had overnight lows in the 20’s, and for the next three days, we are projected to have 70 degree temps. Who can even keep up?

What I know for sure is that it may be chilly outside, but the real Chili is inside! Yes! We got a new puppy today, and her name is Chili (from TLC). She is seven weeks old, tiny and adorable! I am looking forward to debuting her photo on the Dams page. Until then, we are keeping her beauty under wraps!
