Thursday, we added another little darling to the fold. She is adorable, but she is only eight weeks old. Anyone with older dogs knows that a dog that age is equivalent to having baby after all of your children are past that stage. To say the least, it is quite an adjustment – extra feedings, lots of crying, more crate training, sibling rivalry, all the dynamics!
After an evening of yipping and crying, I said to my hubby, “I think we have enough dogs from Oklahoma now.” He replied, “I think eight dogs is enough period.” I was very happy to hear this, so I am writing it down for posterity. And the next time I catch him scrolling on Puppy Find, I am going to pull up this post and remind him how he felt at the time.
I realize it may not work on him (or me), but it is worth recording!
