After I picked today’s image, I thought of the commercial that stated, “When you’re good, they call you ‘Cracker Jack’!”, and was tempted to change the picture! Yep! I am feeling that good this evening! I do not need a co-signer on this success. I am courageously confident that I nailed it! I am soaring so high that I actually shared with two of my kids (grown adults, though they are) that if I didn’t make it to see tomorrow, they should know that I would have died a very happy woman. As morbid as it may sound, today I meant it wholeheartedly!
What has me floating on Cloud 9? I organized a three bedroom house for a new homeowner in less than 12 hours! It is not the time component that has me so stoked, it was the accomplishment of the project. With each piece that was sorted, stored, shined, standardized and sustained (The 5S Way), I could feel my adrenaline pumping and my endorphins exploding! The space went from chaotic to calm, brutal to beautiful and dismal to delightful in one day. The owner went from overwhelmed to overjoyed, and was speechless about the results. Mission accomplished! Minds blown! Mics dropped!
Today, I didn’t just find my tribe, I actually lived in the village of my tribe! If someone asked me today what would I do even if I weren’t paid to do it, I would say enthusiastically, “Organizing spaces for beauty efficacy, efficiency and ebullience!” This I know for sure!
While this post isn’t directly related to dogs, it is about doing what you love – whatever that is. For Tony, it would be breeding dogs. He connects with other breeders, and is lost for hours. It is what makes us a great team. He loves the breeding, and I love the rearing. Together, we create beautiful, loving creatures that provide companionship, calm and connection to homes – just like organization.
Oh, why not! I earned it! . . .

Whatever you do, may it bring you immense joy!
